We could not have picked a more beautiful spot for our honeymoon, from waking up in the mornings to the amazing views from our window and the sound of the waves gently crashing along the shore. To our adventure out on the reef with Kyall and his many stories (and not to forget our mini sailing lessons) All our meals were an event, from fabulous food and wine, great conversations and the unexpected guest- or the nightly entertainment from the Curlews to the wallaby. What an experience to hand feed a wallaby. There are not enough words to describe the staff here from the moment you land until the time you leave there is nothing but warmth and generosity, they really make you feel like you are a part of the family, Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Well Paradise Bay is a place we will never forget. Fantastic location, food, wine and people. We are not resort people and this is not a "Resort", It is a place of retreat, but with friendly and professional people- this it the type of place we all dream of, a paradise in our home country. You should all be very proud of what you have created here, you have made it what it is, a haven in a world of madness. Hope to be back soon.

We don't want to go. Thinking of hiding in the brasco( toilet)- the length we would go to stay here. Good on ya Viogner- loved you!! Kyall and Ian, thanks a bunch, really enjoyed the sailing and the chance to have a fish- go Gill. Bec- you're so beautiful, Andrea and Sue- missed you, we named your baby Alfie. Ben and Kell, you guys are lovely and made our stay so homey, we were cared for so well. Hope you guys rip the skin off a red in memory of us as we will in memory of you. Love you guys.

We have had an unbelievable time escaping from reality with the most fantastic staff and guests we could imagine.

We've had lifetime experiences we will never forget- our "rock star" day at Whitehaven Beach, flying to the GBR, and rocking in the New Year with our new Aussie and British friends, kayaking among the mangroves, feeding apples to the wallabies, hiking the lookout, enjoying amazing tea times, appetizer and meals sharing Cluedo games by the bay, sailing, singing and dancing (all at once!) and waking up to the most gorgeous view in the world. If you are reading this, you are in Paradise- savor every moment, it is all delicious.

One of the most rewarding vacations we've ever taken as a family. I loved meeting new friends and seeing the incredible sights. A week to remember.

The Crowes have traveled to many places for vacation, and this ranks at the top! We have had a fabulous, magical time. An enormous THANK YOU to everyone here who has made the experience so special and memorable. For Amy, me and the girls IT DOES NOT GET ANY BETTER! We'll always remember this.

We have had the most memorable, magical experience on the island. The wonderful food, the comfortable cabins, the attention to detail (we loved our little gifts!) but most importantly the warmth and friendliness of the team. We had such fun and shared some brilliant moments with our American and Australian friends - "cranking it up" on New Years' Eve was just the best Unforgettable. P.S The boat trips were fabulous and contributed to a very "special" stay.

What can we say- an absolutely fantastic holiday in the perfect setting- even the atrocious weather couldn't dampen spirits. Location, food, setting, service and company all fantastic. We'll be going home with heavy hearts but totally satisfied- we'll definitely recommend to friends and family.

Had a fantastic time with some wonderful guests and fabulous hosts. The food was amazing but we had to keep on eating- didn't want to miss out! The boat trips were extra special- particularly in the pre-cyclone! Have never slept so much in our lives the location is just so relaxing. The views are spectacular and the swimming great- so natural. The whole eco- principle is fantastic and works so well. Helped bringing us back to the simple things in life. We'll definitely recommend it to all. Thanks for a great time.

So much to say! We have had the best time here. Such wonderful staff plus the added bonus of a visit from Santa (but a pity Kyall missed him!) Ben- some of the best food have ever eaten. You are truly and talented chef. So many fab memories to take with me.

It's so very hard to say in words what this place is like. The feelings it evokes are incredible. Whether its moments alone- on the lookout walk (Enchanted) forest or sitting on the cabin verandah looking out over Paradise Bay- Just hearing the birds, the water and the wind in the trees all whispering to each other- a harmonic bliss. So much to see- from the amazing vegetation to the incredible marine life. All around you-you become immersed in it.

You have a great recipe for success: 1.) A wonderful location 2.) Incredibly attentive staff 3.) Wonderful Food. Add a dozen or so new friends, bake a bit in the sun, and relax over dinner and voila a perfectly brilliant vacation.

An internet search has never produced a better result than finding Paradise Bay. This place is idyllic and the perfect antidote to our stressed state in which we arrived. Spectacular surroundings, wildlife, comfortable quarters and charming hosts- an unbeatable combination.

It's very difficult to top the many superlatives that have already been said about this amazing place. It really is a magnificent location and within a 'spitting distance' of so many other magnificent locations, but ultimately it's the people which make the difference. The new team of Kelly and Ben are already making their mark and were a pleasure to meet. Bec and Ian have clearly "got" the Paradise Bay principle- thank you!!! I came with high expectations which were well and truly exceeded. The people, both staff and other guests made this a completely amazing holiday. The location is awesome and the facilities top class. Both Ben and Andre produced magnificent meals every time. The sailing and snorkeling was fabulous- Ian and Kyall were top skippers. Bec, Kelly and Sue made me feel so welcome and part of the family. I can't wait to come back.

Just three words to all the staff of the Paradise Bay resort, the kitchen and the boat. We really had a perfect honeymoon! We have been lucky with the guests too, all friendly, interesting and helpful with us when we didn't catch the meaning of a phrase the first time (unfortunately not so unusual)

To the new guests, if you are reading this maybe you don't need any superlatives to describe the resort; you have already made the right choice. It seems that we are the first Italian guests, we are very proud of it and we will try to improve more Italian holidays to Paradise Bay.

I had an awesome time. I told Peter when he asked that my vacation far exceeded my expectations. Both the food and the accommodation were far better than I expected but what really made the stay incredible was the staff. Trying to find the ideal location for our honeymoon was always going to be a difficult task. We had a challenge finding one of the most precious, unspoilt locations for a post wedding getaway, and how lucky we were to have found it. We have seen many new and exciting things this week- including Kyall's attempt at fishing!! And are delighted to say that not only were the team great to stay with, but the other guests arrived to be great fun too. We'll never forget it.

"Paradise" is an apt name for this fantastic getaway! I had such a great time, relaxing when I was sailing, and snorkeling with Kyall- great captain, great guy! Bec and Ian- thank you for a very memorable, a special holiday. You made me feel special from the minute I arrived. Eddy and Edgar and friends were also amazing. I will remember this time for the rest of my life with fondness.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Paradise Bay. Many thanks to Bec, Ian, Kyall and Peter for making it enjoyable. We hope one day to return. We loved our cabins, the food, the cruises, the sound of waves hitting the rocks, the animals, everything about the eco lodge! (Oh yeah and the stars from the helipad were amazing.)

Our stay here will forever stay in our memory banks.  This place will be highly recommended to all our friends. Many thanks again.

Wonderful time! Lots of fun, great food, interesting walks, (bit challenging at the end of the long one). Fantastic days on the boat saw whales, dolphins, rays etc. Everyone took very good care of us. Going home very relaxed. Will miss the drinks and nibbles by the fire.

I've seen a lot of the world and there are only a few special places that can truly be called 'paradise'. I feel fortunate to have stayed here and leave with many special memories and new friends. Thank you Bec, Ian, Jack, Jade and Kyall for being extraordinary hosts - making me feel welcome - and for tending to my needs.

I shall remember Garlic Prawns, special beaches, hiking "the trail" with Ian and Jerry and the wonderful conversations with Matt, Lecretia, Dianne and Steve. I wish the new management great success and hope the Lodge prospers in Paradise.  If you ever need a Foreign Adviser, I'm happy to volunteer!

Quite simply, this was the best holiday of our lives. Everything was perfect: the hosts, the food, the company, the busy mornings, the quiet evenings, the hammocks, the weather, Rebecca, Jack, Jade, Kyall and Ian, the fire at dusk, the snorkeling at the Reef, the many beaches and every other little thing.

We do hope to return again, perhaps with friends, or if not us then friends who we have browbeaten into booking themselves a holiday. You have created something really special here.

We have had such an amazing time here at Paradise Bay.  Massive thanks to the team for making us feel at home immediately and making sure we had a great time.  Everyone here has a real passion for the place and what they do here which shines through. 

The wildlife here is amazing, both the tame and not so tame!  We will miss Eddie and the curlews and even the bush turkeys!  The boat trips have been brilliant and we really enjoyed the walk around the island too.  Especially memorable will be our trip to the Reef which we are so glad we decided to go on.

We have met some great people whilst staying which has made the stay even more fantastic.  The late night balderdash sessions will be remembered!  We are looking forward to a rematch with Steve and Dianne already!  The conversations over dinner have been really interesting and funny.  It's so nice to get the opportunity to get to know other in such a great setting.

The food is the best we have ever tasted on holiday.  Jack's cooking is amazing and as a vegetarian I was very well looked after.

We couldn't have been at a better place to start our honeymoon and have definitely felt the magic of the place!  Thank you so much for the great times and great memories for the future.   

           
Sept 16-21 2007 Chris and John - New Zealand

Everything about this place is very special - Paradise Bay, the beachside cabins, the inquisitive wildlife and especially, the people.  The warm friendly smiles of Becca, Ian, Jack, Jade and Kyall are what really make the difference - along with Jack's great food, Kyall's wonderful sailing destinations and the all-round helpfulness of you all.

And of course, our fellow guests were great company too.  We're leaving well rested with minds clear and feeling fabulous (if a little overweight)!!  

Sept 07 Harriet and Brian

We arrived five days ago tired and slightly anxious about what to expect.  Getting married in a place we'd only seen on the internet was a bit of a gamble but one that paid off far past expectations. 
The effort that the whole team put into our special day was overwhelming - to feel like we were married with close friends after only two days on the island is testament to that effort.  A really romantic day with the helicopter to the Reef in the morning and wedding on the beach in the afternoon! 

Banquet, champagne, flowers and candles all thought of and organized by our wonderful hosts. 
The boat trips have been amazing with whales, dolphins and turtles (still didn't see the mermaids though!).  Food has been just bliss and the company at dinner superb.

All in all it's impossible to fault and I couldn't have hoped for a more special five days to celebrate our wedding.  A huge thank you to the whole team, it was perfect!

What an amazing place! It's magical! A complete escape…. nothing to concentrate on other than what to explore next and what amazing food Jack and Jade will serve for the next meal!! Perfect! We enjoyed our days out on the boat with Kyle and Ian (Whitehaven is the best beach on earth!) and Bec's is the perfect Manageress-making sure we were all looked after.  We've met a great bunch of people who we'll definitely stay in touch with.  Quite possibly, the best holiday we've ever had! Five amazing days- a truly unique experience! Everything so well organized from the helicopter to the boat trips. I particularly enjoyed the small intimate atmosphere of the place which made for interesting contact/ conversation. The food service is excellent and a big thank you to ALL. Will return when I am able to visit Australia yet again.

A very big thank you to everyone for a wonderful honeymoon it was everything we'd hoped for and much more besides. For us, truly a case of Paradise found!

The food was absolutely delicious every meal, everyday thank you Jack.  Thanks also to Kyle for attempting to teach us kayaking and it was great to be on board for that PB of 10.8 knots, it won't be long before you've beaten Ian's record.  And Ian, we won't hear Hotel California in the same way again.  Thank you Bec, Jade and Bron for being charming hostesses and seeing to our every whim. 
We will forever hold very special memories of Paradise Bay and hope to return one day.

We've loved being part of this extraordinary extended family of Paradise Bay- Eddie the wallaby, the Pied Oyster catcher and Junior, the bush stone curlew who waited tables and cleared away the March flies so efficiently. Where else can one take tea while enjoying a four camered inter-species tussle over a piece of apple?

You've all given us an unforgettable holiday.  Thanks to you and the original inspiration of the place, Paradise Bay offers amazing experiences, effortless comfort and great company.  It's a reminder that the best experiences are simple and straight forward.
